Napier improves Bhutan's apex healthcare institution's IT needs

The Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH) adopts Napier's web-based product to improve patient management, better track consistency in clinical outcomes and enhance overall quality of healthcare.

Napier Healthcare's Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) has been successfully implemented at the Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH) in Bhutan.

The hospital caters to the population of Thimpu Dzongkhag, patients from neighboring Dzongkhags (or judicial districts) as well as referral cases from other Dzongkhags in Bhutan.

JDWNRH entrusted Napier Healthcare the task of implementing Hospital Information Management System in order to improve patient management and reduce waiting time for patients.

Napier's Hospital Information Management solution developed using healthcare industry standards like HL7 messaging and DICOM delivers a web-based, modular, scalable and tightly integrated system that is built around the core functions supporting hospital administration, financials and patient management.
