NALCO Recruitment 2020: Engineers can Apply for 120 Fresh Vacancies, Salary up to Rs 1,40,000

NALCO Recruitment 2020 is currently underway for as many as 120 vacancies for engineers with a valid GATE score. Engineers will be selected for a period of one year of training based on their GATE 2020 score as Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) during which they will be paid a salary of approximately Rs 10.52 lakhs per annum (Rs 40,000 – 3% - Rs 1,40,000). Upon successful completion of training and fulfillment of the certain criterion of performance the candidates would then be absorbed as Junior Manager in the E1 grade and will be paid a salary of approximately Rs 15.73 lakhs per annum (Rs 60,000 – 3% - Rs 1,40,000).

Who can Apply for NALCO Recruitment 2020?

According to the official notification issued on the NALCO website, out of the 120 vacancies 45 vacancies are for candidates with a degree in mechanical or production engineering, 29 vacancies are for candidates with a degree in electrical or power engineering, 15 vacancies are for candidates with a degree in Instrumentation, electronics, telecommunication or electrical engineering, 9 vacancies are for candidates with a degree in Chemical engineering or MTech in applied chemistry, 13 vacancies are for candidates with a degree in metallurgical engineering, 5 vacancies are for candidates with a degree in civil, architecture or ceramics engineering, and 4 vacancies are for candidates with a degree in mining engineering or diploma in mining engineering.

The notification mentions that the number of vacancies is likely to increase, and the degrees mentioned above have to be Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with not less than 65 percent for unreserved or OBC category and not less than 55 percent for SC, ST, and PWD category.
