NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2021 has been announced for the year 2021, and applications have been invited from students who wish to work with the organisation. There are 75 internship vacancies at present, for which students pursuing their postgraduate degree or five years integrated degree can apply. Selected interns will be engaged at NABARD for two months, extendable up to three months and will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 18,000.
Who can Apply for NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2021?
The internship is open to students who have completed the first year of their postgraduate degree in agriculture and allied disciplines such as veterinary, fisheries, and so on, agri-business, economics, social sciences and management from reputable institutes or universities or students pursuing five years of integrated courses including law and in the fourth year of their course as well as Indian students studying abroad, says the notification.

Some of the topics on which students will be allowed to work on are as follows:
- Rural Haats
- Rural Mart
- Homestays (Rural Tourism)
- Skill Development Programmes
- Micro ATMs & Financial Literary Programmes
- KWF Projects- Climate Change Projects
- Advanced Technologies on web-based monitoring of watershed management projects
Furthermore, students may also get to work on other NABARD projects such as Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF), LongTerm-Irrigation Fund (LTRF), Warehouse Infrastructure Fund, Food Processing Fund, NABARD Infrastructure Development Assistance (NIDA), Watershed Projects, Spring-shed Watershed Development Programmes, and TDF projects among others.
Submission of Application for NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2021
Interested students will have to submit applications for the internships before 5 March 2021 on the official website. The scheme shall be implemented for 8 to 12 weeks between 1 April and 31 August 2021. Those who wish to know more are advised to go through the official notification for further details.
