Their responsibilities will include creating engaging and informative content, ensuring timely publication, and fostering a vibrant online community. The managers will be expected to exhibit creativity, rational thinking, and practical communication skills to convey the government's initiatives and policies effectively. 

Who can apply for the role of Social Media Manager?

Candidates applying for these positions should possess a strong command of the regional language they will be handling, along with proficiency in Hindi and English. Apart from that, other eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • Graduation in any discipline, with experience in social media management and a strong command of the regional language.
  • Certification or relevant experience in the respective regional language.
  • A minimum of four years of work experience, including a minimum of two years in creative writing or social media management.

Here, preference will be given to those with certification or experience in the respective language. Successful candidates will be appointed at MyGov's headquarters. The initial employment period will be a three-month probationary period, during which their performance will be evaluated. MyGov reserves the right to offer a regular contract based on performance and the duration of the probationary period which may be adjusted at the organization's discretion.
