MSDE Skill India Invites Entries for Logo Designing Competition, Winner to Get Cash Prize of Rs 20,000

MSDE Skill India has announced a ‘Design a Logo Competition’, wherein entries have been invited for to design a logo for the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) capturing the importance of the skill development ecosystem in India.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) notified NCVE on 5 December 2018 as a non-statutory regulatory body, by merging the National Council for Vocational Training and National Skill Development Agency.

“NCVET has been set up as an overarching regulatory body mandated to regulate both long and short-term vocational training in the country and is in the process of being operationalized,” says the MSDE website. The NCVET will also regulate the functioning of entities engaged in Vocational Education & Training (VET) and establish uniform standards for the functioning of such entities.

The logo designing competition has been announced in order to give a visual identity to NCVET, Government of India. The logo is expected to capture the importance of the Skill Development ecosystem in the country and essence of the organization according to the objective and the functions of NCVET.

Guidelines to take part in the MSDE Skill India design a logo competition

Interested Indian citizens can take part in the competition and all entries need to be submitted on the MyGovIndia portal before 31 December 2019. The submitted logo should be original and an attachment file in JPG or PNG format along with the open file, with a minimum size of 4x4 inches.

The logo should not be in more than two or three colours, and the winner will be asked to submit the design in an editable and open file format. Submitted designs must not have any imprints or watermark. Interested individuals are advised to go through the notification in detail on the official MyGovIndia website.
