mPokket to Support Families of Pulwama Martyrs by Contributing to BharatkeVeer

mPokket, a leading Kolkata based youth focused lending platform extending instant personal loans to college students and recent graduates, has initiated a dedicated effort to contribute to the cause of CRPF jawans martyred during the recent ghastly terror attack in Pulwama. In order to contribute to the central government’s efforts to raise money for the bravehearts, mPokket will contribute 2% of every loan processed on 20th February towards the central fund for CRPF martyrs via BharatkeVeer.

The Pulwama encounter has outraged the entire nation and has once again brought the contribution of our defense forces to the forefront.  mPokket’s effort aims to bring some relief to the families of the slain soldiers and ensure greater financial support to every level of our defense forces. It also wants to raise more awareness about the contribution of the Indian defense forces amongst college going students and young graduates, who form the core of mPokket’s target audience.

Commenting on the initiative, mPokket Founder and Director Gaurav Jalan said, “mPokket is extremely saddened by this attack on the CRPF convoy by terrorists that led to the martyrdom of 42 brave soldiers of CRPF. We hope that our small effort is able to provide some amount of relief to the families of the deceased and work towards achieving stronger security mechanisms for the soldiers.”
