Ministry of Labour and Employment recruitment has been announced 112 Young Professional vacancies wherein selected candidates will get to work for the National Career Service. For effective functioning of Model Career Centres, which have been set up to provide standardized employment services across the nation, one Young Professional is being posted at each Model Career Centre located at various parts of the country. Those selected will be engaged on contract, and will one paid a monthly salary of Rs 50,000.
Who Can Apply for Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment?
The latest Ministry of Labour and Employment recruitment says that there are 112 Young Professional vacancies for which candidates with a a Bachelor’s degree such as BA, BE, BTech or BEd with at least 4 years of experience and/or a Master’s Degree in MBA, or Masters in economics, psychology, sociology, operations research, statistics, social work, management, finance, commerce and computer applications among others with at least 2 years of experience can apply.
All the mentioned degrees must be from institutes recognised by AICTE or UGC. Furthermore, candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in 10th, 12th and graduation, should be proficient in English or one other regional language, the Candidate should be willing to relocate within the country, and should be between 24 to 40 years of age. The candidate should also have strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Responsibilities of Those Selected for Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment
Some of the responsibilities that will be assigned to young professionals are as follows:
- Facilitating smooth and efficient working of Model Career Centres.
- Promotion of National Career Services portal for multiple stakeholders.
- Facilitating the transition of employment exchanges into career centres by actively engaging in capacity building, branding and training on National Career Services project.
- Supporting State Governments and institutions in replicating this model in other centres.
