The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology(MeitY) has launched an engaging quiz on online safety in collaboration with MyGov. The quiz is named “MyGov Quiz: Digital India Quiz on Stay Safe Online”. It is open to all the citizens of India and can be accessed through the MyGov website. It comprises 10 multiple-choice questions that cover various topics related to cybercrime and data protection.
The quiz is an initiative to raise public awareness about the importance of online safety in today's digital era. The widespread of social media and its adaptation has literally invaded people's privacy. In such a time personal data is people's biggest asset which needs to be protected from cybercrimes.
Through the quiz “Stay Safe Online”, the government is trying to emphasize the concepts of digital literacy and safe online behavior. It will inform the citizens about potential cyber threats and encourage them to adopt measures to mitigate these threats. and protect their valuable data.
Those who want to participate in the quiz also have a chance to win attractive cash prizes as the top 10 participants will receive 2500 rupees each. The quiz will be open for all from 12 June to 1 July 2023.
