The exodus, which Ashok Soota led from Wipro to form Mindtree six years ago,
has coalesced into a seasoned management team and employees skilled in
technology, business analysis and project management approach. Bangalore-based
Mindtree grew a record 87% in FY 2004-05, more than double the industry average.
Revenues from traditional strong market, USA, dropped from 68% to 63% in FY
2004-05, while Europe remained stable at 21% of total exports. Also, the company
ramped up its off shore business to 57% compared to 52% in the previous year .
