4 million more Dell shares purchased by Carl Icahn

Battle between Icahn and Dell is now taking a new angle. In a financial filing on Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission it was revealed that Icahn bought 4 million more shares of Dell on Thursday, as reported by CNET. This means he now owns 8.9 percent of the company, which is nearly 156.5 million shares.

This move has made Ichan position much more stronger. Earlier he owned 8.7 % share of the comapny. With its recent purcahse, the investor is now second largest share holder after Michael Dell.
