Microsoft has launched Visual Studio 2012 and .NET Framework 4.5, what it calls, its integrated development solution for building and managing applications. According to the company, Visual Studio 2012 is a set of tools that helps developers build modern applications for burgeoning trends like consumerization and cloud computing.

Besides, the company also lifted curtains on: Visual Studio Update 1 timing, Visual Studio 2012 Express for Desktop availability, F# Tools for Visual Studio Express 2012 for Web availaibilty and TFS Power Tools for Visual Studio 2012 and other updates. Visual Studio 2012 provides the richest development environment for building compelling modern applications meeting customer needs for always-on, accessible anywhere, and data-intelligent applications.
