Microsoft launches ‘YouWeCan’ App ,spreads Cancer awareness

Microsoft is launching the ‘YouWeCan' App on Windows Phone to spread awareness about Cancer and encourage people to join the Cause more actively.

Microsoft pledges its support to champion cricketer Yuvraj Singh's cancer awareness initiative ‘YouWeCan Fight Cancer' by launching the ‘YouWeCan' app initially exclusively for the Windows Phone.

A try and buy App, YouWeCan is priced at Rs. 565 which gives users an opportunity to contribute their bit to fight cancer most directly, as this is what one Cancer detection costs.

Once the full paid version is downloaded, a large portion of the payment automatically goes to the Yuvraj Singh Foundation for their anti-cancer drive. With the click of a button, users, get an opportunity, to create their own personalized digital T-Shirts, signed by Yuvi himself. Additionally, users of the full paid version can also enter the weekly YouWeCan contest with questions around Yuvraj Singh, Cricket and Cancer.

Even as users do their bit to fight Cancer, the App rewards contest winners with unique YouWeCan memorabilia and get to have their picture as the cover photo of the App as Contest Winner for one full week. So get set to be counted against cancer and be a hero like Yuvi.
