Microsoft India has invited applications from graduate and postgraduate engineers for its Research Fellows program in Bangalore. Microsoft India says that this research fellowship aims to introduce Indian engineers to world class research and state-of-the art technologies. The program also trains students for careers in research, engineering, and entrepreneurship. Interested candidates can apply for the research fellowships until 15 January 2021.
Who can Apply for the Microsoft India Research Fellowship?
The official notification says that Candidates who will be completing their bachelor’s degree in engineering such as BE, BTech or BS, or master’s degree in engineering such as ME, MTech or MS in computer science or related areas by Summer 2021 can apply for the research fellowship. Candidates will be selected based on various factors such as academic performance, raw smarts, development skills, and passion for research and software development.

Interested and eligible candidates would be required to apply on the official Microsoft India website before 15 January 2021. Candidates will have to apply with their resumes and at least one letter of recommendation. Certain additional documents are also required such as:
