MHRD Internship Scheme 2019: Now, Students from these Institutions can also Apply, Stipend Rs 10,000

MHRD Internship Scheme 2019 will engage integrated postgraduate and undergraduate students for period of two to six months

While the online registrations for the MHRD Internship Scheme 2019 are still underway, the Government of India has added the names of seven more institutions from where students can apply for the internship programme at the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

The students who wish to be associated with the Ministry of HRD in the formulation of policies, implementation of projects and various initiatives in the education sector have to be pursuing their degrees in education, social sciences, science, humanities, management, engineering, ICT, or law.

Selected students will get to work with the Government of India for a period of two to six months, and will also be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 10,000.

The last date to apply for the MHRD Internship Scheme 2019 on the official MHRD website is 11 November 2019, and more details on the scheme and the eligibility criteria required for the same have been provided here.

Names of the New Institutions from which Students can Apply for MHRD Internship Scheme 2019

The Ministry of HRD has issued a fresh notification stating that the students studying in the following institutions can also apply for the MHRD Internship Scheme 2019 provided other terms and conditions stated in the earlier order are satisfied:

  1. Pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Jabalpur.
  2. IIIT Design and Manufacturing, Kurnool.
  3. IIIT Allahabad.
  4. IIIT Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram.
  5. National Institute of Design, Ahmadabad.
  6. National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar.
  7. National Institute of Design, Bengaluru.

The Ministry of HRD says that the names of these institutions could not be included on the online portal of the Ministry of Human Resource Development Scheme “inadvertently” but now students from these institutions can apply as well.

Interested and eligible students who wish to apply for the MHRD Internship Scheme 2019 are advised to go through the guidelines in detail, before applying for the same online.

    Sit, what about the other law college’s from North East?
    Especially from Nagaland we don’t get this platform.. As I’m law students and I believe that this will bring a great impact if given chance.
