Mehmet Kaplan, Sweden’s Hon’ble Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Information Technology, visits Ericsson Forum to discuss Smart City programs in line with Digital India Initiative with Paolo Colella, Head of Region India, Ericsson

The Hon’ble Minister who is visiting India between October 14-18, 2015 to attend CYFY 2015 and the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week 2015, met with the Ericsson team to discuss the company’s initiatives around the Digital India initiative. Minister Kaplan has been a proponent of Smart Urban development anchored around the pillars of economic, ecological and social sustainability.

Speaking on his visit to the Ericsson India office, the Hon’ble Minister stated, “I understand Ericsson is very keen to partner with the Indian Government for its Digital India initiative. I think Indian and Swedish companies can develop smart and sustainable solutions together that can fit the scale and scope of the Indian requirements.”
