Marlabs Expands in India 

US-based technology solutions and services provider, Marlabs has announced the

setting up of a new offshore development center in India. Marlabs said the new

center would accommodate its software development team as well as development

teams of IT services and end-user companies using the BOT model. Marlabs also

announced its plans to add more than 200 professionals over the year. Marlabs'

existing facility would house its team of sales, marketing and support

functions. “The new center marks the business focus shift of Marlabs from

onsite to offshore and is part of the aggressive plans we have in India. The

Global Delivery India Center will be the largest delivery center outside the US

and will provide offshore development services in the areas of applications

development, product development, package implementation, business intelligence

and testing. We expect to grow this facility as Marlabs Center of Excellence in

a short period of time,” said Sunil Nambiar, head of Global Delivery, Marabs

India.
