Mahindra Satyam launches Oracle Engineering Centre in Kolkota

Mahindra Satyam announced the launch of "Oracle Communications Solution Engineering Centre" in Kolkota.

The new centre developed by Mahindra Satyam and Tech Mahindra together will cater to the telco customer's ever increasing demand for different services and will offer innovative solutions to the telecommunications industry.

"The "Oracle Communications Solution Engineering Centre" will help us build and deliver high value integrated solutions to Telcos and Telecom Equipment Manufacturers leveraging Oracle suite of products." said V. Srinivasa Rao (VSR), Senior Vice President and Global Head-Oracle Practice, Mahindra Satyam.

Both the companies are investing in flexible, comprehensive and cost effective Solutions for Communication Industry.

According to the press release,the "Oracle Communications Solution Engineering Centre" will have solutions which provide ways to enhance cross channel customer experience, provide Intelligent Business Management solutions, help in Financial Modernization and generate revenue stream enablers.

Engineers in the "Oracle Communications Solution Engineering Centre" will also develop newer versions of "Oracle Wimax xPress".

"Mahindra Satyam is partnering with a telecom operators to offer Oracle solutions to enterprise customers of telecom operators. This would entail monetizing the data centre and other assets of an operators to generate additional revenue and help them sell beyond standard voice and data services", said Debjit Chakraborty, Assistant Vice President and Head - Oracle Communications Practice, Tech Mahindra.
