Prodapt Takes over PCT



Prodapt, a telecom software services company based in Chennai, has taken

over Pacific Crest Technology (PCT), based in Oregon, USA. With this

acquisition, Prodapt would enhance its offerings and establish itself as a

leading software services provider to the telecommunications industry. PCT has

revenues around $17.2 mn (approximately Rs 80 crore). The all cash deal gives

Prodapt a 100% stake in PCT and expands its base in the North American market.

Also, it will be consolidating its US operations under PCT. PCT shall be renamed

as Prodapt North America with Kerry Padrick, CEO, serving as the president of

Prodapt North America.

Aditi to Acquire Infospace India



Aditi Technologieshas had signed an agreement with Infospace to acquire its

Indian subsidiary, Infospace India Software Developmenta developer of

metasearch and online consumer products. The terms of the transaction have been

approved by both Aditis and Infospaces Board of Directors. Established in

2007, Infospace India is engaged in online product development, software

engineering, and product testing for INSPs global product portfolio. Its

development center is in Bengaluru. Infospace is a global technology leader in

metasearch products and this acquisition makes it a strategic client for Aditi

Technologies.

CIGNEX-AGS Merger



CIGNEX Technologies and AGS Technology Group, a provider of ERP services,

have announced their merger. The merged entity will be known as CIGNEX Holding

Corporation (CIGNEX). Jeff Colvin, CEO & co-founder of AGS, will take over as

the CEO of CIGNEX. CIGNEX has been the global leader in Open Source consulting

for over a decade, providing solutions across web content management, portals,

e-commerce, digital asset management, documents & record management, business

process management, and SOA.

MindTree Acquires 7Strata



MindTree has entered into a definitive agreement with 7Strata, a remote

infrastructure management (RIM) services provider. MindTrees infrastructure

management and technical support business has shown a leading growth over the

last four years. The acquisition would provide MindTree the advantage of

offering platform based RIM services to customers globally. This would also

enable MindTree to offer remote desktop management services.
