Though Keane entered the BES 20 this year near the bottom of the rung, the company has done relatively better on employee parameters including overall satisfaction (rank 11), composite satisfaction (rank 11), job content and growth (rank 10) and appraisal (rank 8). Its employee rank was pulled down to #17 by lower performance on parameters like salary, company culture and preferred employer, where it ranked #18. The company performed relatively strong on employee empowerment and 'people' factors leading to #3 rank on statements like “I feel a sense of belonging in this company” and “I feel pride in saying that I work for this company”.Â
Satisfaction with salary hikes went up, thanks to a salary hike that was ranked #3 in the survey. However satisfaction with actual salaries remained relatively low. In an industry where HR hygiene improved across several companies, Keane scored low with a HR rank of #14 on several parameters including average tenure, training and retention. |
