Furthermore, job postings citing artificial intelligence or Gen AI received 2.1 times the number of applications as those that did not. 98% of Indian professionals are excited about implementing AI into their jobs. Many people are keen to employ AI for career assistance (75%) and dealing with difficult work situations (78%).

Company executives react to these impending changes and look to their HR and recruitment departments for guidance. In India, 92% of talent professionals agree that their roles have taken on a more strategic dimension, notably in talent acquisition. In this case, AI is ready to play a critical role by reducing administrative hassles, allowing HR personnel to focus on the most essential parts of their positions.

Over the next five years, 80% of HR experts worldwide feel AI will be a valuable tool. They believe that AI will enable them to focus on their roles' more strategic and human-centred aspects. This includes developing relationships with candidates and coworkers and participating in creative and strategic efforts (39%).

The landscape of job skills is poised for a dramatic transformation by 2030. This evolution is driven by technological advancements, changing workplace dynamics, and the ever-shifting demands of industries. Digital literacy will expand beyond basic knowledge to encompass emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, and quantum computing. Adaptability and resilience will become prized attributes as the workplace grows more dynamic. Emotional intelligence will foster effective human interactions in the digital age. 

Sustainability-related skills, cybersecurity expertise, and remote collaboration abilities will be highly sought after. Moreover, creativity, global competency, and a focus on mental health and well-being will gain prominence.
