The much-awaited commercial launch of JioFiber, earlier known popularly as Jio DTH and Jio GigaFiber, finally took place earlier this week. While customer reactions on the same continue to pour in, the initial reaction seems to be that the plans maybe a little more expensive than what was being expected.
While the plans start from Rs 699 and go up till Rs 8,499 per month, and are divided into bronze, silver gold, platinum, and titatnium plans, the amount of data being offered along with them are 150GB, 400GB, 750GB, 1500GB, 2500GB and 5000GB, respectively.
As far as the Jio DTH or Jio Fiber plans that were meant to offer Free 4K TV or Home PC are concerned, Reliance Jio has stated that JioFiber users will have access to 3, 6 and 12 month plans that provide substantially higher value. Through bank tie-ups, Jio will provide attractive EMI schemes, so customers get the benefits of annual plans by paying only monthly EMI.

Titanium plan worth Rs 101988: The rental for the monthly plans will be Rs 8499 + 60,000GB annual data + Jio Home Gateway worth Rs 5000 + + 4K Set Top Box worth Rs 6400 + 43 inch 4K TV worth Rs 44,990 + 1GBPS speed.
Platinum plan worth Rs 47,988: The rental for the monthly plans will be Rs 3999 + 30,000GB annual data + Jio Home Gateway worth Rs 5000 + + 4K Set Top Box worth Rs 6400 + 32 inch HD TV worth Rs 22,990 + 1GBPS speed.
Diamond plan worth Rs 29,988: The rental for the monthly plans will be Rs 2499 + 15,000GB annual data + Jio Home Gateway worth Rs 5000 + + 4K Set Top Box worth Rs 6400 + 24 inch HD TV worth Rs 12,990 + 500 MBPS speed.
Gold plan worth Rs 31,176: The rental for the monthly plans will be Rs 1299 + 12,000GB annual data + Jio Home Gateway worth Rs 5000 + + 4K Set Top Box worth Rs 6400 + 24 inch HD TV worth Rs 12,990 + 250 MBPS speed. This, however, is a two year annual plan.
