Jio Wi-Fi Calling is Now Available on OnePlus Smartphones

Jio Wi-Fi Calling, Reliance Jio’s free Voice and Video over Wi-Fi service, is now available on OnePlus handsets as well. OnePlus has reportedly released a new update Oxygen OS 10.3.1 that supports Jio Wi-Fi Calling. The free voice over Wi-Fi service can now be availed by OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 7T Pro smartphone users.

Although Jio Wi-Fi Calling, which was unveiled officially last month, is supported by over 150 handsets, several OnePlus users had taken to social media stating their disappointment over the unavailability of the service on the company’s handsets. “Thank you for reaching out to us. As our team is already working on it. We request you to stay tuned to our social media channels for further updates,” the official OnePlus Support account had said at the time. However, the service is still unavailable for OnePlus 6 handsets.

Jio Wi-Fi Calling enables voice and video calls to seamlessly switch-over between VoLTE and Wi-Fi to provide an enhanced voice or video-calling experience.
