Ittiam Systems, with its focus on DSP systems and solutions in its key domain
areas of media processing and communications gadgets, has been a proven IP
generator over the years. In FY 2004-05, it garnered over 50 licenses for a
variety of DSP and codec solutions in the wireless, wireline, videophony, and
consumer electronics spaces. The year also saw further demand from electronics
appliances makers in the DSP and multimedia codec markets, though its lopsided
dependence on a few select customers continued.
