How will be the program conducted?

The program will be conducted through online platforms requiring participants to have basic hardware and internet connectivity. Most importantly, there is no course fee for this program, candidates will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Upon completion of the course, participants are expected to have the skills to write programs in Python for reading, writing, and processing raster and vector geospatial data. Additionally, they should also be able to visualize geospatial data and derive insights for informed decision-making.

Conclusion

IIRS continues to play a crucial role in fostering expertise in remote sensing and geospatial technologies. And, the Geodata Processing using Python course reflects the institute’s commitment to advance knowledge and skills in a rapidly evolving field contributing to the effective utilization of geospatial information for the benefit of society.
