The names of the students selected provisionally for the ISRO YUVIKA 2020 or Young Scientist Programme has been announced on the Indian Space Research Organisation’s official website. 3 students from each State or Union Territory will be selected to participate in this programme covering CBSE, ICSE and State syllabus, and 5 additional seats have also been reserved for OCI candidates across the country.
Students who have been selected provisionally need to note that this is not the final list, and they would have to upload the attested copies of the relevant certificates on or before 26 March 2020. The final selection list will be published on 31 March 2020 after verifying all the submitted documents.
When will the ISRO YUVIKA 2020 or Young Scientist Programme be Conducted?
ISRO YUVIKA 2020 will most likely be conducted from 11 to 22 May 2020. The selected students will be housed at ISRO guest houses or hostels, and all expenditures such as the travel of student and one guardian (II AC fare by train from the nearest railway Station to the reporting centre and back), course material, lodging and boarding, and so on, during the entire course will be borne by ISRO.
Where will the ISRO YUVIKA 2020 be Conducted?
Selected students will be sent to any one of the following centres of ISRO or DOS to complete the programme:
- Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram.
 - U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru.
 - Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad.
 - North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), Shillong.

Students are requested to only rely on the official ISRO website to see if they have been selected or for any other official communication. This list of provisionally selected students will be published on the official Young Scientist Programme page at 5 pm on 10 March 2020 (today).
