ISRO Recruitment 2021: Walk-in-interview to be Conducted for 16 Research Vacancies, Salary Rs 31,000

ISRO recruitment 2021 will soon be conducted at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), which is a centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation that is responsible for capacity building and research in the field of remote sensing and geoinformatics. The research programs being undertaken at IIRS are intricately linked with the overall goal of ISRO towards operationalization of space-based services for national development, says the institute. There are 16 Junior Research Fellow vacancies, for which selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs 31,000.

Who Can Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2021?

The latest ISRO recruitment notification issued on the IIRS website says that there are 16 Junior Research Fellow vacancies for which candidates with the following qualifications may apply:

• There is one vacancy for candidates with an MSc in forestry, ecology, botany, environmental science, wildlife science, or biodiversity and conservation or MSc or MTech in remote sensing and GIS or equivalent subject with dissertation in forestry or ecology.
• There are four vacancies for candidates with an ME or MTech in remote sensing and GIS, geoinformatics, geomatics, electronics and communication engineering, electronics and electrical engineering, computer science, computer science engineering, or equivalent subject, MSc in physics, computer science or agriculture (any branch), or equivalent qualifications subject, or BE or BTech in electronics and communication engineering, computer science, computer science engineering, electronics electrical engineering, agriculture engineering, civil engineering, water resources engineering, geoinformatics, remote sensing and GIS, or equivalent subject.
• There is one vacancy for candidates with MSc in forestry, ecology, environment management, environmental science botany or equivalent subject or ME or MTech in remote sensing and GIS, environmental engineering or equivalent subject with dissertation in forestry, environmental science or ecology.
• There are two vacancies for candidates with an MSc or MTech in physics, atmospheric science, meteorology, environmental science, mathematics, remote sensing and GIS or equivalent subject. Applicants must have studied physics and mathematics at the graduation level.
• There are two vacancies for candidates MSc, MSc in technology, or MTech in geology, geophysics, applied geology, applied geophysics or equivalent subject or MTech in remote sensing and GIS with dissertation in geosciences.
• There are 7 other vacancies for candidates with similar qualifications. The candidates who wish to apply must be NET, GATE, IIRS-JET or equivalent qualified.

Interested and eligible candidates will have to appear for walk-in interviews to be conducted at IIRS Dehradun from 22 to 29 October 2021.
