ISRO Recruitment 2021: Engineers can Apply for 12 Apprentice Vacancies, Stipend up to Rs 9000

ISRO recruitment 2021 is currently underway at ISRO centre Indian Institute of Remote Sensing for 12 technician and graduate apprentice vacancies

ISRO recruitment 2021 is now being conducted at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, which is a centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation for research, higher education and training in the field of remote sensing, geoinformatics and GPS technology for natural resources, environmental and disaster management. IIRS is looking for technical and graduate apprentices to be engaged under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amended Act of 1973, for the training year 2021-22 in designated disciplines. Those selected for technician apprentice vacancies will be paid Rs 8000, and those selected for graduate apprentice vacancies will be paid Rs 9000 per month.

Who Can Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2021?

The latest ISRO recruitment notification issued on the IIRS website says that there are a total of 12 apprentice vacancies for which candidates with a three years diploma awarded by a state technical board or university, or candidates with an engineering degree or BLib granted by an Indian University from the following streams can apply:

The period of training will be 12 months commencing from the execution of the contract of apprenticeship. The notification says that the engineering graduates or diploma holders in engineering and commercial practice, who have passed out during the year 2018, 2019, 2020, or 2021 are only eligible to undergo apprenticeship that is only if they join within 3 years of acquiring the degree.

How to Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2021?

Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit online applications on the IIRS website from 22 September to 9 October 2021 before 5:30 PM IST. Interested candidates must be enrolled or registered with BOAT (NR), Kanpur through their portal and must have 16 digit online enrollment or registration number allotted and approved by BOAT. Those who wish to apply are advised to go through the official notification in detail before submitting applications.
