ISRO recruitment 2021 will soon be conducted through walk-in-interviews for 8 new research vacancies available at the Institute of Remote Sensing, which is a centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation. The vacancies available are that of junior research fellow and research scientist, for which eligible candidates can apply. Those selected for the junior research fellow vacancies will be paid Rs 31,000, and those selected for research scientist vacancies will be placed on the pay scale of Rs 56,100 to 1,77,500.
Who Can Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2021?
The latest ISRO recruitment notification issued on the IIRS website says that there are a total of 8 research vacancies our of which 3 junior research fellow positions and 5 are research scientist positions. The qualifications required for JRF positions are as follows:
- in atmospheric science, meteorology, RS & GIS applications in atmospheric sciences or MSc in physics, mathematics, atmospheric science, meteorology or equivalent.
- BTech in agriculture engineering, civil engineering, computer sciences, remote sensing and GIS or equivalent or MSc in hydrology, geology, atmospheric sciences, physics, mathematics, geology, geography, geoinformatics or equivalent.
- MSc, MSc (Tech), MTech in geoinformatics, remote sensing and GIS, mathematics, applied mathematics, physics, applied physics, computer science, IT or equivalent subject or BE or BTech. in geoinformatics, computer science, IT or equivalent.
- ME, MTech. in agricultural engineering, civil engineering, and so on.
Apart from these qualifications applicants also need to have e NET, IIRS-JET, GATE or equivalent qualification in any subject.
How to Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2021?
Interested candidates need to fill the interview application form and bring the printout on the date of the walk-in-interview along with their self-attested copies of all their educational qualification mark sheets and degrees to the walk-in-interview, which will be held in August 2021 at IIRS.
