ISRO Recruitment 2020: Online Applications for 55 Vacancies at SAC Ends on 15 October

The last date for online applications for ISRO recruitment 2020 being conducted at the Indian Space Research Organisation’s Centre in Ahmadabad Space Applications Centre (SAC) is 15 October 2020. While ISRO had invited applications for 55 Scientist/Engineer, Technical Assistant, and Technician B vacancies in March 2020, the last date for online applications was deferred most likely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of up to Rs 2,08,700.

Who can Apply for ISRO recruitment 2020?

The official notification issued in March states that there are a total of 55 vacancies, out of which 21 are Scientist/Engineer vacancies for which candidates with a Phd in fields related to Electronics, MSc in Physics, ME or MTech in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering and Electrical Engineering and related fields can apply.

There are 6 Technical Assistant vacancies for which candidates with a first-class diploma in engineering from a recognized Institution, Board or University in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering can apply.

Furthermore, there are 28 Technician B vacancies for which candidates with a Matric (SSC / SSLC / 10th Class) as well as ITI, NTC or NAC in Fitter, Machinist, Electronics, Information Technology, Plumber, Carpenter, Electrician, Mechanical, and Chemical trades can apply.

Interested and eligible candidates would be required to apply online on the official SAC OSAR website before 15 October 2020 at 5 PM IST. Candidates are also advised to take a look at the latest clarifications on applicants’ queries. Also, the website for online application will not be available from 3 to 5 October 2020 10:30 AM due to scheduled maintenance.
