ISRO Recruitment 2020 last month had apprised of 55 Scientist/Engineer, Technical Assistant, and Technician B vacancies at the Space Applications Centre (SAC) for which candidates were needed to apply online. The online application date for the same has now been extended to 1 May 2020 5 PM IST most likely due to the Coronavirus outbreak in India. The highest salary being offered for selected candidates is up to Rs 2,08,700.

Who can Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2020?

As per the official notification issued on the SAC website, of the 55 vacancies 21 are for Scientist/Engineers, 6 are for Technical Assistants, and 28 are Technician B. Candidates with a degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering as well as candidates with a Matric (SSC, SSLC or 10th Class) along with an ITI, NTC or NAC in certain trades such as fitter, electronics and so on can apply for the posts. How to Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2020?

Interested and eligible candidates can now apply for the above-mentioned posts until 1 May 2020, and the following steps need to be taken:

  1. There is No online application fee that needs to be paid for any post.
  2. Upon online registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
  3. Furthermore, a printout of the online application form needs to be taken and brought along with passport size photograph and documents supporting the data furnished in the online application at the time of written test, skill test or personal interview.
  4. Candidates need to furnish original documents at the time of the interview.
  5. The application form is divided into 4 parts, and the fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.
  6. Applications can be submitted only once, therefore candidates need to fill all details correctly as there is no scope for corrections after submission of application.
