ISRO recruitment 2020 is being conducted at the Space Applications Centre (SAC) Ahmadabad, and the online applications for 55 Engineer and Technician vacancies have now been extended from 1 May 2020 to “indefinitely until further order.” This decision has been announced after the Coronovirus lockdown was extended to 3 May 2020 by the Prime Minister.

ISRO recruitment 2020 is being conducted at SAC for 21 Scientist/Engineers, 6 Technical Assistants, and 28 Technician B vacancies for which candidates with a degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering, as well as candidates with a Matric (SSC, SSLC or 10th Class) along with an ITI, NTC or NAC in certain trades such as fitter, electronics and so on, can apply. ISRO Recruitment 2020 at LPSC: Joining Date for Scientists and Apprentices Postponed

The Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), a premier India Space Research and Organisation Centre, has issued an email to candidates selected for Scientist/Engineer posts asking them to report for duty between 16 and 30 April 2020. However, due to the extension of lockdown by the government to avoid the spread of Coronavirus, the date of joining was postponed by LPSC. “The fresh date of joining will be intimated in advance for enabling you to plan your journey to your place of posting,” says LPSC on its website.

In addition to that, the joining date of apprentices also has been postponed to a later date. “Those candidates issued with offer of appointment as Graduate / Technician / Trade and Vocational Trainees under Apprentices Act, 1961 hereby are informed that their fresh date of joining in LPSC/ISRO will be intimated later once the lockdown declared by the Govt. of India due to the spread of COVID 19 is lifted,” says the notification.
