ISRO Recruitment 2020: Fresh Vacancies Announced in Addition to the 182 Posts, Salary up to Rs 44,900

While ISRO recruitment 2020 is currently underway to fill-up 182 vacancies at the UR Rao Satellite Centre, Bengaluru, the Indian Space Research Organisation has announced 9 additional posts for which candidates can apply online. The fresh vacancies announced are of library assistant, Hindi typist, and catering attendant-A. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of up to Rs 44,900.

Who can Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2020?

As per the official notification issued on the ISRO website, there are a total of 9 vacancies of which 1 is for library assistant at the Indian Space Research Organisation’s Headquarters, 3 are for Hindi typist at the Department of Space, Master Control Facility, and Human Space Flight Centre; and 5 are for catering attendant-A at the Indian Space Research Organisation’s Headquarters.

Library assistant is required to be a graduate with a first class master's degree in library science or library and information science or equivalent from recognized university or institution. Selected candidates will get paid a salary of Rs 44,900.

Hindi typist is required to have a graduation in arts, science, commerce, management or computer applications with first class as declared by the university. The candidate should have studied Hindi as one of the subjects at matriculation or degree level or passed either of these examinations in Hindi medium. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of Rs 25,500 per month.

Catering attendant-A is required to be SLC or SSC pass or its equivalent, and selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 18,000 per month.

The other vacancies available are of Electronics-Mechanic / Technician Power Electronic Systems / Mechanic Consumer Electronic Appliances / Mechanic Industrial Electronics – 50, Fitter – 17, Electrical – 11, Plumber – 5, Refrigeration and Air – Conditioning – 8, Turner – 3, Machinist (Grinder) – 3, Motor Vehicle Mechanic – 1, Photography/ Digital Photography – 1, Machinist – 1, Electroplating – 1, and welder- 1. Salary Rs 21,700 per month. Draughtsman-Mechanical – 3. Salary Rs 21,700 per month.

Technical Assistant: Mechanical Engineering – 13, Electronics Engineering – 17, Computer Science Engineering – 5, Automobile Engineering – 1, Electrical Engineering – 2, Instrumentation Engineering – 2, and Civil Engineering – 1. Salary Rs 44,900 per month, and so on.
