ISRO Recruitment 2019: Two New ISRO Job Openings Announced, Salary Rs 44,900

ISRO Recruitment 2019 fresh notification is out, and this time there are two openings (1 unreserved and 1 OBC) in the ISRO Headquarters, Bangalore. The Indian Space Research Organisation is looking to hire two candidates for the post of Library Assistant. The selected candidates will be eligible for a Level 07 of Pay Matrix. The last date to apply for the ISRO Job Openings is 1 April 2019.

Who can Apply for the Current ISRO Job Openings

Indian nationals who are not more than 35 years of age on 1 April 2019 (38 years for OBC) and hold a graduate degree along with a First Class Master's Degree in Library Science/Library and Information or Equivalent degrees can apply for the ISRO job openings. Also, ex-servicemen, central government servants, persons with disabilities, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried, Widows, and Meritorious Sportspersons are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India orders, says the notification.

Nature of Job as per Current ISRO Recruitment 2019 Notification

The candidate will be responsible for website design and maintenance, online database searches, monitoring printed and online resources, Digital library and institutional repository applications, database management, developing information services and current awareness services, and so on.

How to Apply for the ISRO Job Openings

The mode to apply for the ISRO Job openings is through online on the official ISRO website only. The application for online registration will be hosted in the ISRO website between 12 March 2019 and 01 April 2019. The candidates registered under National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling the eligibility conditions may visit ISRO website and follow the application procedure as stated, says the notification. Once the candidates have registered online, they will receive an online registration number, which needs to be preserved for future reference. Candidates must also take care to register with their correct email address as all intimation will be done via email address only. There is also an application fee of Rs 100, which can be paid 'online' using Internet Banking and Debit Card or 'Offline' by visiting nearest SBI Branch. Selection of Candidates

The candidates who fulfill the requirements will be shortlisted for a written test. Candidates who apply for the posts available will be shortlisted based on the ‘defined screening guidelines’ and those screened-in candidates alone will be called for Written Test, says the notification. After the results of the written test comes in, the skill test will be announced, which is a Computer Literacy Test. Candidates appointed as Library Assistant in Level 07 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of approximately Rs 44,900 per month.
