ISRO Recruitment 2019: Engineers can Apply for Project Trainee Positions at VSSC, Salary Rs 30,000

ISRO recruitment 2019 notification is out, and this time it is for the position of project trainee. The recruitment is being conducted at the prestigious ISRO centre Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC). VSSC is the largest establishment under the Indian Space Research Organisation engaged in the development of sounding rockets, launch vehicles, spacecraft subsystems and other Space related fundamental research activities, says the ISRO recruitment 2019 notification. Candidates will be selected on a temporary basis of one year, which is extendable for a year after that.

Who can Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2019?

As per the notification, there are two positions of project trainee available, of which one requires the following eligibility: First class ME or MTech degree in electronics and communication engineering and candidates with knowledge in digital signal processing and computer programming would be preferred. The selected candidate would be eligible for a pay of Rs 30,000 per month.

Another post of project trainee has the following eligibility criteria: First class MSc degree in physics and candidates with knowledge in computer programming would be preferred. The selected candidate would be eligible for a pay of Rs 25,000 per month.

How to Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2019?

Interested candidates who have the desired eligibility criteria and have completed their ME or MTech degree in electronics and communication engineering, and MSc degree in physics in or after January 2018 only need to apply, says the ISRO recruitment 2019 notification. Candidates need to submit their application in the format, which can be obtained from the official VSSC website, by affixing their recent passport size colour photograph and enclosing self attested copy of certificates and marksheets on or before 12 July 2019 by speed post to Senior Administrative Officer, Recruitment and Review Section, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Thiruvananthapuram 695 022.

Candidates must also note that the envelope containing the application should be titled as “Application for the position of PROJECT TRAINEE 01/02 ON SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT –ADVT.  NO. 307”.
