ISRO recruitment 2019 is being conducted for engineers at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), which is one of the largest centres of the Indian Space Research Organisation. The vacancies available are that of technician apprentice, and selected candidates would be engaged for a period of one year. The selected candidates would also be eligible for a monthly stipend of Rs 3542.
Who can Apply for the ISRO Recruitment 2019 for Engineers?
As per the notification issued on the official VSSC website, there are a total of 158 technician apprentice vacancies of which: 46 are for mechanical engineers, 40 for electronics engineers, 25 for chemical engineers, 15 for computer science engineers, 10 for electrical engineers, 8 for civil engineers and 6 for instrument technology. The degrees have to be first-class diploma degrees awarded by a state technical board or university. The candidates must have passed the diploma in or after April 2017. The upper age limit of the candidates cannot exceed 30 years as on 31 August 2019. However, there is age relaxation for SC, ST and OBS candidates. The trainees will be purely engaged on a temporary basis and cannot claim for employment in VSSC or any other ISRO centres after the completion of one year, says the notification.
How to Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2019 for Engineers?
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the technician apprentice vacancies at VSSC by first registering their names online with www.mhrdnats.gov.in or at Supervisory Development Centre, Kalamassery through their website www.sdcentre.org. After registration, the candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview to be held on 17 August 2019 from 9:30 am to 5 pm IST at the VSSC pavilion at Government Polytechnic College, Kalamassery and submit their bio-data.
