ISRO recruitment 2019 for engineers will soon be conducted at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun through walk-in-interviews. IIRS is a unit of the Indian Space Research Organisation for capacity building and research in the field of remote sensing and geoinformatics. There are a total of 19 temporary research vacancies available, which are for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA). Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of Rs 31,000 for JRF and Rs 54,000 for RA positions.

Who Can Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2019 for Engineers?

According to the official notification issued on the IIRS website, there are a total of 19 vacancies available of which 17 are for Junior Research Fellowships and two are for Research Associates. For the JRF vacancies there are different post codes that require different eligibility criteria based on the project but some of the degrees required are as follows: BE or BTech/ME or MTech in agricultural engineering, civil engineering, computer science engineering, electronics and communication engineering, water resources engineering, software engineering, and so on. Even MSc candidates can apply for the posts. Candidates must have secured their degrees in first-class with an aggregate of 65 percent along with a valid NET score.

For the RA positions, candidates with a doctorate or equivalent degree in remote sensing and GIS, geoinformatics, data science, computer science and so on can apply. The maximum period for which JRF can be engaged is 5 years and RA can be engaged is 3 years.

How to Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2019 for Engineers?

Walk-in-interviews for the posts will be conducted from 15 to 17 October 2019, and different posts codes have different dates. Candidates are advised to go through the notification available on the official IIRS website to know on which date they could appear for the interview based on their eligibility. Candidates need to carry their application forms in the format mentioned in the notification along with certificates for verification.
