ISRO Quiz Results 2019: Names of all the 60 Winners from Across India Announced

ISRO quiz results 2019, an announcement that thousands of students across the country were waiting for, have finally been announced on MyGov.in. The ISRO Space Quiz, which was conducted from 10 Agust to 25 August 2019 by ISRO and MyGov.in, received an overwhelming response.

The ISRO Space Quiz witnessed participation from more than 5.8 lakh citizens. Furthermore, as far as the ISRO quiz results 2019 are concerned, 398 students of class 8 to 10 from across India scored full marks and two (2) students from each State and Union Territory were randomly selected, says a blog post on MyGov.in.

The winners will witness the landing of Chandrayaan 2 on the Moon live from the ISRO Control Room, ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) facility in Bengaluru along with prime minister Narendra Modi. ISRO will also provide to and fro second AC train fare to the winners and their guardians. Boarding or lodging of the student and guardian will also be taken care of by ISRO. Winners are required to reach Bengaluru by 2:00 pm on Friday 6 September 2019.

What is noteworthy is the fact that 16 Students from various Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country have been selected through the ISRO Space Quiz, to witness the historic landing of Chandrayaan 2.

The second de-orbiting maneuver for Chandrayaan 2 spacecraft has been performed successfully on 4 September 2019, and the Chandrayaan 2 is expected to land on the Moon between 1 and 2 am IST on 7 September 2019. The touchdown of the lander is expected to take place between 1:30 and 2:30 am IST.
