The Indian Space Research Organisation has announced the inauguration of its Space Theme Park at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh on the 31st March 2019. The theme park will include a Rocket Garden which will have photo points for visitors and sounding rocket, SLV, ASLV, PSLV, GSLV, Mk-III will be available with a provision to go inside. There will also be a dedicated launch gallery for thousands of people to sit and witness the rocket launches live. Further to that, a space museum which will explain the history of ISRO, technology, applications and so on will also be created.

The nearest railway station is Sullurpeta, which is 18 Km away from Sriharikota, and limited public or private transport is available from Sullurpeta to Sriharikota.
