Confirmation of the participant will be done after verification of the authorization letter from the Head of the institution, and wrong or incomplete entries are liable to be screened out, says the official website. The quiz competition will be conducted in three rounds that include prelims, semi-finals, and finals. Prelims will contain multiple-choice questions, and the top 32 participants from prelims will proceed to the semi-finals. Two toppers from each semi-final will proceed to the finals, and a total of 8 participants will compete for the top spot through the WebEx platform. All the participants will be provided with e-certificates through the registered Gmail Ids, and winners of the finals will be awarded exciting prizes.

Important Guidelines of the ISRO Quiz Competition for School Students

Interested students will have to keep the following important guidelines in mind about the ISRO Quiz Competition:

  • Schools will have to identify a faculty as the coordinator for registration and communications, and only the identified faculty coordinator can register students for the event. Students will not be allowed to register directly.
  • Each school can nominate up to 10 students, and the competition is for individual students.
  • Participating students will need to have a Gmail id and a mobile number to participate in the ISRO Quiz Competition.
  • Interested students will have to register before 28 September 2021 at 8 pm IST.
  • A scanned copy of the authorization letter duly signed by the Head of the institution or faculty coordinator will also have to be submitted.
  • In order to ensure fair play students will have to be alone to avoid any interference from others, microphone and video camera should be available always, and the usage of other aiding devices like headsets is not allowed.
