ISRO Cyberspace Competition 2020 is soon coming to an end, and the competitions that are yet to be held are essay and quiz for higher classes. The online competition is being held by the Indian Space Research Organisation to engage young minds of the country during the present COVID-19 challenging times by involving them in various online competitions.

While drawing, model making, and essay competition for lower classes have already been completed, the essay competition for classes 11 and 12 will be held on 10 July 2020. ISRO will provide participation certificates through e-mail to all participant students. Furthermore, the names of the top 500 students will be announced on the ISRO website and merit certificates will be dispatched by e-mail or post.

Rules for the Essay Competition of ISRO Cyberspace Competition 2020

Students must take care of the following pointers while submitting their applications:

  • The topic of the competition will be sent on the student’s registered e-mail and will also be made available on the ISRO website on 10 July 2020 at 10:45 am.
  • Students can write the essay in English or Hindi as selected during registration.
  • The essay has to be less than 1000 words, and the essay needs to be written by the students as a typed essay will be rejected.
  • Students need to write the essay in blue or black ball or ink pen in an A4 sheet.
  • The registration number needs to be written on the top right corner of the first page of the essay.
  • The participant’s name, school name, phone number and other such details must not be written.
  • A photo or scan of the essay needs to be taken and converted into a single PDF file and then submitted.
  • Students must avoid copying direct text from the internet or web sources as it could lead to disqualification.
