ISRO apprenticeship 2023 has been announced at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) in Dehradun. Selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amended Act of 1973, for the training year 2023 to 2024. Candidates selected for the graduate apprentice vacancies will be paid Rs 9000 per month, and those selected for diploma or technician apprentice vacancies will be paid Rs 8000 per month.
Who Can Apply for ISRO Apprenticeship 2023?
The latest notification issued on the IIRS website says that there are a total of 12 vacancies, and for the diploma or technician apprentice vacancies candidates with a three year diploma awarded by a State Technical Board or University in the following fields can apply:

The notification mentions that only engineering graduates or diploma holders in engineering and commercial practice, who have passed out during the year 2020, 2021, 2022 or 2023 are only eligible to undergo apprenticeship. Those who have obtained their qualifying degrees before the year 2020 are not eligible to apply. Selected candidates will be engaged only for a period of 12 months from the date of execution of the contract, and no further employment will be offered.
All the degrees obtained will have to be full time, and candidates who have done sandwich or distance courses as well as candidates with higher qualifications such as masters in engineering or diploma are not eligible to apply. In addition to this, candidates with over one year of work experience are not eligible to apply.
How to Apply for ISRO Apprenticeship 2023?
Interested and eligible candidates will have to first register on the MHRDNATS portal, and then visit the IIRS website and fill the application form online before 13 February 2023. Once BOAT approves the registration of the candidate, they will be provided a 16 digit registration number. This 16-digit enrolment number will have to be compulsorily quoted by the candidate along with their copies of certificates.
The correct email address will have to be provided by candidates as all correspondence will be done through email only. Selection of candidates will be on the basis of the merit list prepared, which will be based on final marks secured by the candidate.
