ISRO Apprenticeship 2019: ISRO Centre Invites Applications for 12 Apprentice Positions

ISRO apprenticeship 2019 is now being conducted at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Dehradun for both graduate and technician apprenticeships

ISRO apprenticeship 2019 is currently underway at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun, which is a premier centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation. The vacancies available are that of technical apprentices and graduate apprentices, and candidates would be engaged and trained for a period of one year. Selected candidates would also be eligible for a monthly stipend of Rs 3542 for Technician Apprentice and Rs 4984 for Graduate Apprentice.

Who can Apply for ISRO Apprenticeship 2019?

The official notification available on the IIRS website mentions that there are a total of 12 apprentice positions available of which 10 are Technician Apprentice and 2 are Graduate Apprentice.

Of the 10 Technician Apprentice positions available, candidates with a three-year diploma from a recognized institute or board can apply for the following positions:

  1. 1 is for Civil Engineering
  2. 1 is for Agriculture Engineering
  3. 1 is for Electronics and Communication Engineering
  4. 1 is for Computer Engineering
  5. 1 is for Architecture Engineering
  6. 1 is for Library Sciences
  7. 4 are for Modern Office Management (MOM) and Secretarial or Commercial Practice

Furthermore, two Graduate Apprentice positions are available for candidates with an engineering degree or Bachelors in library science for the following positions:

  1. Geoinformatics
  2. Library Science

How to Apply for ISRO Apprenticeship 2019?

Interested and eligible candidates should have registered with www.mhrdnats.gov.in before applying for the ISRO apprenticeship 2019. Interested candidates may visit the official IIRS website and fill the online application form from 30 October 2019 onwards until 22 November 2019 at 5:30 pm.

Only candidates from the northern region of India are eligible to apply for the apprenticeship Region (Delhi, Haryana. Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttrakhand).

Candidates should have passed their degree, and only those who have acquired their degree after April 2017 are eligible to apply. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to go through the notification in detail before applying for the apprenticeship.
