ISRO apprenticeship 2019 for engineers will soon be conducted at the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). There are a total of 87 vacancies and selected candidates would be engaged for a period of one year. Technician Apprentice is eligible for a monthly stipend of Rs 3542.

Who can Apply for the ISRO Apprenticeship 2019 at LPSC?

As per the official notification available on the LPSC website, there are 87 ISRO apprenticeships for engineers. Of the 87 positions, candidates with a first-class diploma awarded by a state technical or university in the respective fields can apply for the following ISRO apprenticeship 2019: 43 mechanical, 7 electrical, 13 electronics, 1 chemical, 5 computer science, 6 civil and 2 automobile.

How to Apply for the ISRO Apprenticeship 2019 at LPSC?

Interested and eligible may visit LPSC pavilion during the centralized walk-in-interview arranged by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT), Chennai and Supervisory Development Centre, Government of Kerala on 7 September 2019.

Only candidates who have passed in or after April 2017 are eligible to apply. Those who passed diploma in 2017 will be eligible for apprenticeship till March 2020 as per the provisions of Apprentices Act 1961 and they will not be offered the training position after March 2020, says the notification on the LPSC website.

Prior to the walk-in-interview, interested and eligible candidates may either register their names at www.mhrdnats.gov.in or at Supervisory Development Centre, Kalamassery through their website www.sdceentre.org. After online registration candidates may visit the LPSC pavilion at Government Polytechnic College, Kalamassery on 7 September 2019. The walk-in-interview was earlier supposed to be held on 17 August 2019 but was postponed to 7 September 2019 due to heavy rainfall in Kerala. Candidates will be selected after screening the consolidated bio-data or applications taking into consideration the academic scores at the Diploma level giving due weightage to reservation categories. Candidates are advised to go through the ISRO apprenticeship 2019 notification in detail before applying for the jobs.
