ISRO Apprentice Recruitment 2021: Online Applications Begin for 167 New Vacancies at VSSC, Stipend Rs 9000

Online applications have begun for ISRO apprentice recruitment 2021 being conducted for 167 graduate apprentice vacancies available at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), which is a centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation. Candidates will be engaged under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973, and applicants who have acquired a degree from any university coming under the southern region of the board of apprenticeship training, which includes Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry, can apply for the training year 2021-22. Those selected will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 9000.

Who Can Apply for ISRO Apprentice Recruitment 2021?

The latest ISRO apprentice recruitment notification issued on the VSSC website says that candidates with a first-class BE or BTech of four or three-year duration for lateral entry in the following fields of engineering with not less than 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA can apply:

There are also four vacancies available for first-class degree of 4-year duration in hotel management or catering technology from an AICTE approved institute with not less than 60% marks. Candidates who have completed three years after acquiring the prescribed qualification are not eligible for apprenticeship training.
