iOS 16 features promise a new redesigned lock screen along with new ways to customise widgets along with the use of the Focus functionality of the iPhone
iOS 16 features, which were unveiled at the Apple’s developers conference (WWDC 2022) held in June, are being rolled out for Indian users. The new iOS 16 update, released on 12 September for Indian users, will provide a redesigned lock screen that offers users new ways to personalise their screen by showcasing favourite photos, customising font styles, and displaying widgets among others. The iOS 16 software update will be supported by iPhone 8 and above. In addition to that, iPhone SE 2020 and iPhone SE 2022 models can also upgrade to the latest iOS 16 features.

Multiple Lock Screens can be created, and widgets that display information at a glance like the weather, battery levels, and upcoming calendar events. Notifications appear at the bottom of your Lock Screen and can be displayed in expanded list, stacked or count views.
Edit a message for up to 15 minutes after sending it. Recipients will see a record of edits, and Undo Send allows users to recall any message for up to 2 minutes after sending it. Scheduled send allows users to send an email on a specific day and time
