IOCL Recruitment 2022: Vacancies for Engineers to be Announced, GATE 2022 Scores Required

IOCL recruitment 2022 notification for Officer or Engineer vacancies in the Indian Oil Corporation Limited will be issued soon, and engineers from various streams may apply for the vacancies provided they have a valid GATE 2022 score. In a notification issued recently, IOCL says that only candidates with GATE 2022 scores can apply for the vacancies, and earlier scores such as GATE 2021 or 2020 scores will not be accepted. Candidates with valid GATE scores are usually selected for Engineers or Officers vacancies wherein a starting basic pay of Rs 50,000 per month will be paid, and those selected will be placed on the pay scale of Rs.50,000  to 1,60,000.

Who can Apply for IOCL Recruitment 2022?

The official notification says that candidates with a full-time BE or BTech in engineering from institutions, colleges, universities or deemed universities recognized by AICTE or UGC along with valid GATE 2022 scores from the following streams can apply:

• Chemical Engineering (CH)
• Civil Engineering (CE)
• Computer Science and Engineering (CS)
• Electrical Engineering (EE)
• Instrumentation Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering (ME)
• Metallurgical Engineering (MT)

While the number of vacancies and other details have not been revealed, the present notification says that candidates will be shortlisted for group discussion, group task, and personal interview based on the GATE 2022 marks obtained in the respective engineering disciplines.
