The online application date for IOCL Recruitment 2022 through GATE has been extended, and eligible applicants can apply for the vacancies until 15 June 2022. “Last date for submission of online application for recruitment of Engineers/Officers and Engagement as Graduate Apprentice Engineers in Indian Oil Corporation Limited through GATE 2022 has been extended to the mid night of 15 June 2022,” says a message from the Recruitment Team of Indian Oil Corporation Limited. 

Who Can Apply for IOCL Recruitment 2022 through GATE?

The notification on the IOCL website says that candidates with a BE, BTech or equivalent course from institutions, colleges, universities, and deemed universities duly recognized by AICTE or UGC from the following disciplines can apply:

• Chemical Engineering: Petrochemicals, Polymer, or Plastic Engineering.
• Civil Engineering.
• Computer Science and Engineering: Candidates with Information Technology Engineering can apply but Information and Communications Technology won’t be accepted.
• Electrical Engineering: Including Electrical and Electronics Engineering but excluding Electrical and Communication, Power Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Instrumentation Engineering: Including Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering but excluding Electronics and Communication Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Mechanical Engineering excluding Automation, Automobile, Industrial, Manufacturing, Power, Production Engineering, Mining Engineering and Technology, Mining and Machinery, Marine Engineering, Robotics or Welding.
• Metallurgical Engineering including Mineral or Material Sciences.

Furthermore, candidates must have qualified in the GATE 2022 examination from one of the following disciplines in order to be eligible to apply:

• Chemical engineering.
• Civil engineering.
• Computer science and engineering.
• Electrical engineering.
• Instrumentation engineering.
• Mechanical engineering.
• Metallurgical engineering.

Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit online applications on the official IOCL website before 15 June 2022.
