IOCL recruitment 2022 for engineers has been announced for which candidates will be selected through GATE 2022 scores

IOCL recruitment 2022 for engineers with bright academic record is currently underway for Engineer and Officer vacancies. Exceptional candidates will be selected for the posts based on their GATE 2022 scores. Apart from Engineers and Officers, few candidates would also be selected for Engagement as Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) in line with Apprenticeship Act, 1961. Those selected will be placed in the pay scale of up to Rs 1,60,000, and will be paid a monthly salary of Rs 50,000.

Who can Apply for IOCL Recruitment 2022 for Engineers?

The latest IOCL recruitment notification says that candidates with a BE, BTech or equivalent course from institutions, colleges, universities, and deemed universities duly recognized by AICTE or UGC from the following disciplines can apply:

• Chemical Engineering: Petrochemicals, Polymer, or Plastic Engineering.
• Civil Engineering.
• Computer Science and Engineering: Candidates with Information Technology Engineering can apply but Information and Communications Technology won’t be accepted.
• Electrical Engineering: Including Electrical and Electronics Engineering but excluding Electrical and Communication, Power Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Instrumentation Engineering: Including Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering but excluding Electronics and Communication Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Mechanical Engineering excluding Automation, Automobile, Industrial, Manufacturing, Power, Production Engineering, Mining Engineering and Technology, Mining and Machinery, Marine Engineering, Robotics or Welding.
• Metallurgical Engineering including Mineral or Material Sciences.

For the Graduate Apprentice Engineer vacancies, candidates from the following streams will be chosen :

• Chemical Engineering.
• Electrical Engineering.
• Civil Engineering.
• Mechanical Engineering.
