IOCL Recruitment 2021: Vacancies for Engineers to be Announced, GATE 2021 Scores Required

IOCL recruitment 2021 notification for Officer or Engineer vacancies in the Indian Oil Corporation Limited will be issued soon, and engineers from various streams may apply for the vacancies provided they have a valid GATE 2021 score. In a notification issued recently, IOCL says that only candidates with GATE 2021 score can apply for the vacancies, and GATE 2020 score would be rejected.

Who can Apply for IOCL Recruitment 2021?

The official notification says that candidates with a full-time BE or BTech in engineering from institutions, colleges, universities or deemed universities recognized by AICTE or UGC along with valid GATE 2021 scores from the following streams can apply:

• Chemical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Instrumentation Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

While the number of vacancies and other details have not been revealed, the present notification says that candidates will be shortlisted for group discussion, group task, and personal interview based on the GATE 2021 marks obtained in the respective engineering disciplines.

How to Apply for IOCL Recruitment 2021?

Candidates need to note that they would be required to apply separately for GATE 2021 and for IOCL Recruitment 2021. The official recruitment notification containing details of the vacancies such as educational qualifications, number of vacancies, age limit, application procedure and so on will be issued after GATE 2021 admit cards are issued by authorities. As per the GATE 2021 website, admit cards will be available for download and printing tentatively around 8 January 2021.
