IOCL Recruitment 2020: Online Applications are being Accepted for 1004 Apprentice Vacancies at Present

IOCL recruitment 2020 is being conducted for 1004 apprentice vacancies in the Eastern and Western regions. While there are 404 vacancies in the Eastern region, there are 600 apprentice positions available in the Western region. The vacancies available are of technical and non-technical trade and apprentice positions. Selected candidates will be engaged for a temporary period, and will also be eligible for a stipend as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, or Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation’s guidelines.

Who can Apply for IOCL Recruitment 2020?

According to the official notification, the Eastern region has 404 vacancies and selected candidates will be deployed in West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Bihar and Jharkhand. As far as the 600 vacancies in the Western region are concerned, selected candidates will be placed in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Goa and Madhya Pradesh.

For the technician apprentice vacancies graduates who hold a three years diploma in engineering from a recognized institute or university in the following disciplines can apply: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering, electronics engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, and civil engineering.

Furthermore, for the trade apprentice vacancies, candidates with a matric along with fulltime ITI course in the following disciplines recognized by NCVT or SCVT can apply: fitter, electrician, electronic mechanic, instrument mechanic, data entry operator (fresher apprentices and skill certificate holders), and machinist.

Interested and eligible candidates who wish to apply for the 404 apprentice vacancies in the Eastern region need to apply on the official website before 18 June 2020. While those who wish to apply for the vacancies in the Western region need to do so on the official platform before 21 June 2020.
